Integrated Weather
Integrated weather instruments combine multiple environmental measurements in a single compact sensor assembly. Depending on the instrument, these may include parameters such as wind speed and direction, air temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, rainfall, solar radiation, and other weather-related measurements.
These instruments typically communicate digitally using Modbus RTU over RS485, or through ASCII / proprietary serial protocols over RS485 or RS232.
FELYX supports both standard Modbus integration and custom serial communication. For instruments using proprietary ASCII or text-based protocols, the flexible YuParse engine can be used to parse the incoming data and map the required parameters to FELYX variables for logging, processing and telemetry.
