Rain Gauge
Tipping bucket rain gauges typically use a magnet-operated reed switch to generate a pulse whenever the bucket tips. The reed switch is normally open and closes momentarily for each tip.
FELYX uses DI1 as the Rain Pulse Counter input. Connect the two reed-switch output wires to DI1 and GND. Rainfall is calculated from the number of pulses and the configured rain-per-tip value.
Integration note
Wire colors and terminal assignments may vary by manufacturer and model. Always refer to the OEM manual for the exact wiring reference before installation.
Detailed pulse-input configuration and rainfall scaling settings are covered in the FELYX Sensor Integration / Pulse Input configuration section.

Sensor Integration Examples
The following examples show tipping bucket rain gauges that have been integrated with YuDash FELYX. Wiring colours, connector pinouts and rainfall resolution vary between manufacturers; always verify the corresponding OEM documentation before installation.
