Soil Sensors
Soil sensors are used for continuous measurement of soil water and related parameters in hydrology, agriculture, irrigation, watershed studies and environmental research. Depending on the sensor, measurements may include volumetric water content (VWC), soil temperature, electrical conductivity and permittivity.
FELYX supports digital soil sensors using interfaces such as SDI-12 and RS485/Modbus, allowing multiple measurement parameters to be acquired, logged and transmitted from remote field installations.
